Shepley Singers

Shepley Singers are a group of amateur singers who come together under the direction of Bryony Griffith to perform 4-part a cappella arrangements of traditional folk songs. Formed in 2007 to perform at the first Shepley Spring Festival, the group decided to keep going and now have a Spring repertoire and a Winter repertoire of traditional folk songs arranged by Bryony. Material is taught by ear and also from the notation with lyrics provided.

Rehearsals take place from 7.45pm till 9.15pm on term-time Tuesday evenings at St. Paul’s Church Hall, Marsh Lane, Shepley, Huddersfield, HD8 8AE.
